In this house, we pronounce it es-cah-pe because that’s how Dori pronouned it in the movie, "Finding Nemo". Anyway, here are a few examples of the cards made with the stamp set that we’ll be playing with today during my 12 hour E-scape, intended to get away from phones, computers, pagers, technology and make some cards with some friends. I will have plenty of sets to play with, but will focus primarily on the set "Fresh Cuts" and the bundle that is being offerred as a sneak peak into the new fall/winter 2008 catalog.

On June 19th, Stampin’ Up! announced a new product line called Décor Elements:
More and more people are using Stampin’ Up!’s® rubber stamps and accessories to customize their home. The list of retired stamp sets of Stampin’ Up!’s Spring-Summer Collection 2008 has been released! These sets are only available for purchase by August 10, 2008, and then they’re gone. You don’t have to hostess a party in order to place an order if you’re interested in purchasing these stamps sets. You can place an order with me over the phone, or email me your wish list. I will arrange to have the stamp sets delivered right to your door from Stampin’ Up! within 7-10 days.

I’m thinking of the movie called "The Jerk" right now …. recalling the part where Navin Johnson, played by Steve Martin (aka jerk) is beside himself with excitement over the delivery of the new phonebook. Navin discovers his name in the phonebook, and exclaims, I’m somebody now!" That’s how I feel right now as a newcomer to weblogging, which most everyone I know has been doing for quite some time now. This is my first post of my new blog …. the one that I had previously said I would never have because I didn’t have time…. the one I had previously said I didn’t need …. the same one I am now committed to providing and updating in order to maintain a competitive edge, provide customers and friends with tricks of the trade, and share ideas on papercrafts and more!
